About the Role
We're looking for our first dedicated Talent Lead to join our growing team and drive talent density across the organization. This isn't your traditional HR role—we need someone who thinks like a growth-oriented operator, combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and approaches talent as a competitive advantage rather than an administrative function.
You'll be responsible for building the frameworks and operating systems that ensure we consistently attract, identify, and retain top-tier talent. This role requires someone who can execute recruitment at the highest level while simultaneously establishing the performance management and leveling systems that will scale with our growth.
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Execute end-to-end recruitment for critical roles, sourcing and closing top talent in competitive markets
- Build and refine our recruitment frameworks, including structured interview processes and candidate evaluation systems
- Develop compelling employer branding and candidate experience strategies
- Create and maintain talent pipelines for key roles and future hiring needs
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles
Performance Management & Excellence Tracking
- Design and implement performance tracking systems to identify and measure excellence within the company
- Create scorecards and frameworks to assess hiring effectiveness and improve recruitment decisions over time
- Establish regression testing processes to align hiring decisions with actual performance outcomes
- Build systems to track and analyze the correlation between interview performance and job success
- Develop frameworks for ongoing performance calibration and feedback
Leveling & Compensation Systems
- Establish clear, consistent definitions for all levels (junior, senior, staff, principal, etc.) across functions
- Create role leveling frameworks that benchmark against industry standards and market conditions
- Use compensation data and benchmarking platforms to ensure competitive and equitable offers
- Build calibration processes to ensure consistent application of levels across the organization
- Design career progression pathways that align with business needs and individual growth
Team Development & Training
- Train hiring managers and team leads on effective interviewing, candidate evaluation, and talent identification
- Develop company-wide best practices for spotting and retaining high performers
- Create onboarding experiences that set new hires up for immediate impact and long-term success
- Build feedback loops to continuously improve our talent processes
Data-Driven Operations
- Implement metrics and analytics to track recruitment efficiency, quality of hire, and long-term performance
- Use data to optimize sourcing channels, interview processes, and hiring decisions
- Create dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into talent metrics across the organization
- Continuously analyze and improve the entire talent lifecycle from sourcing to performance

- Natural Marketer: Ability to sell the company vision and create compelling narratives that attract top talent
- Builder Mentality: Excited about creating frameworks, processes, and systems from the ground up
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in high-growth environments
- Experience building performance management systems and leveling frameworks
- Familiarity with modern recruiting tools incl. AI automations, HRIS systems, and benchmarking platforms
